I'm a 'normal' person... well I say normal, what I really mean is I am a 'perfectly imperfect' human just like everyone else.

I spent my childhood being the kid who got an A for effort in PE but a D for achievement. I then spent my twenties avoiding exercise... and now after a rocky few years with medical challenges I am now the 'Girl Who Can' at the gym twice a week, planning to climb not just any mountain but one of the highest peaks you can climb.

Please dont be mistaken, this challenge isnt purely physical. I am taking on this challenge and a few others to raise money for Mind.
1 in 4 people will be diagnosed with a Mental health challenge in their lifetime, that doesnt take into account all those who may not go to their GP and get an official diagnosis. Mind support so many individuals with a range of information and support services.
Climbing Kilimanjaro felt like an appropriate challenge for me, as it will be as much of a mental challenge as it is a physical one. In addition given the mountains we all conquer in our minds, this is the physical interpretation.
